Associate Professor (Cardiology)I am Dr. Mohammad Abul Khair, an experienced and dedicated cardiologist specializing in both clinical and interventional cardiology. I was born on July 16, 1967, in Bangladesh. With over 21 years of clinical experience and more than 16 years in interventional cardiology, I have been serving as an Associate Professor of Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Dhaka, since 2017. I obtained my MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College in 1992, followed by a Diploma in Cardiology (D-Card) from NICVD in 1998, and achieved FCPS in Cardiology from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2013. Over the years, I have pursued professional training in several countries including Malaysia, India, South Korea, Sri Lanka, and the UK to enhance my expertise in various cardiac procedures. I have performed thousands of procedures including coronary angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker implantations, and valvuloplasty. In addition to my clinical work, I am deeply involved in teaching postgraduate students, guiding research, and contributing to national and international publications. With a passion for excellence and patient care, I aim to advance the field of cardiology in Bangladesh and continue to serve with dedication and integrity.

Coronary Angioplasty (PCI) Performed 5000 cases.
Peripheral angiography & angioplasty 300 cases.
Mitral Valve Commissurotomy (PTMC) 200 cases.
Pulmonary Valvopathy 15 cases.
Permanent Pacemaker (PPM) both single and dual chambers pacemakers Implantation 1500 cases.
